 Troy Edward Boettcher, 51, Meds-1 Ambulance Service, died in the line of duty in an ambulance accident. Troy is remembered as a dedicated Public Safety servant and a respected member of the EMS community. He was known for his “Troy bear hugs.” His co-worker’s share that when the pressure was on, it was comforting to work next to Troy because he set everyone at ease. His concern and energy for the homeless drove him to act and start “A Place to Call Home” shelter. Troy was an avid auction hunter, fisherman, hunter and played guitar. He loved spending time with and showing love for his family
