Minnesota EMS Honor Guard

Who We Are - Minnesota EMS Honor Guard

Our Vision

The Honor Guard was founded by Craig Anderson, an Allina paramedic, he established the Honor Guard in the summer of 2002. We operate with the cooperation of the MN Ambulance Association. The duty of the Honor Guard is to provide assistance and support for existing honor guards, families and co-workers, as well as communities and local funeral directors. A LODD is a trying time for all involved.

The MN EMS Honor Guard can provide these services to fallen EMS comrades:

1: Assistance in funeral planning
2: Provide information on LODD benefits for the families
3: Provide the United States Casket flag
4: Furnish color guard with flags
5: Act as honorary pallbearers
6: Provide bugler for TAPS
7: Serve as ushers
8: Provide uniforms door attendants
9: Provide a CISD certified Chaplin
